Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement with GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The singer also signed a recording deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It included the smash track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became his first Billboard 200 number one album. In the following year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced his first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. Following the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within a year.
