[6] He is credited for creating a YouTube video genre that focuses on extreme stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson, who was 13 when he started uploading videos to YouTube under the username "MrBeast6000". His initial videos included "Let's Plays" and "videos estimating the wealth of other YouTubers." The channel went viral in the year 2017 after his "counting to 100,000" video received millions of views in just a few days, and he has become increasingly popular ever since, with the majority of his videos receiving thousands of views.Over time, his style of content has changed to include donation and challenge videos that award thousands of dollars, videos involving arduous challenges or tasks, and original videos. Donaldson has had a number of his childhood friends assist him in managing the growing channel. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel reached 100,000,000 subscribers on July 28, 2022.
